PT educational system:
-         1 year (or 2) for the selection
-         3 years for the PT school. They are public and private schools
Important: This is undergoing change and will soon have a reform and there will be added one year.

How many schools/ universities do you have? 
47 schools, only 4 integrated universities (Lyon, Grenoble, Amiens and Limoges)

Name of your students organization(s): 
FNEK (Fédération Nationale des Etudiants en Kinésithérapie)

Communication about ECPTS within your country:
FNEK is a big organization that represents 7500 students and has 15 managers. In each school there is a administrator that connects the school to FNEK. They participate at a General Assembly every 2 months. Through this systems, the national board and the administrators work together to promote  PT students and young practitioner values.

With this organization, we can communicate about ECPTS. (Press, student magazines,…)

What are the values of your association?
Our organisation functions by the principle of bottom-up model: we represent and share the student voice, promot physical therapy and students values, inform and train the seudents about associative work. Is is for the students and by students.

Who works at FNEK?
The national board is composed by 18 physicaltherapy students and young professionals. This board works with administrators, who represent their school at the FNEK board meetings.

What international projects does your organisation have?
Our organisation pays a particular attention to the international representation. We try to keep contact with international students and professional organisations and promote international solidarity actions. We are creating a specific english-written space in our own social network, BRE@K (only for PT students).

What is the entry level for working as a physiotherapist in your country?
For working as a physiotherapist, you need a French degree or an equivalent. The aspects required differ between origin countries. 

Do you offer English-speaking courses or summerschools for PTs/ PT-students?
Unfortunately not.
