PT educational system:
The school education system in Germany is organized individually by the 16 federal states of Germany, that’s why the student organization of the school students is organized at the level of the federal states as well. This vocational education (degree: state examination) is still the most common education, because the academic education is very newly developed. Since 2001 it is possible to follow Bachelor-programmes in Germany and since 2006 Master programmes. All these studies were postgraduated studies and the state examination of a public or private school was needed (red pins). Three years ago the first university in Bochum (Hochschule für Gesundheit) started to educate their students directly on a bachelor level. Currently more and more schools offer to study one or one and a half year longer to reach besides the state examination a bachelor degree as well
